With the oscillating tangential module, the cutting head has a more sophisticated design than with the module for drag knives.This is because, in tangential cutting, a separate stroke motor guides the blade to any acute angle.In other words, the motor raises the blade, turns it and lowers it again.By changing the tangential knife blade in the respective cutting direction, exact cuts are possible.Consequently, even fine lines, corners, edges and contours can be cut accurately.
Besides, the versatile use of a tangential knife is advantageous, not only concerning the cutting geometry but also the material to be cut.This is because a tangential cutting module also works precisely and quickly when machining more robust and stable materials.
